Steve Adams

Born and raised in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana, Steve Adams has truly made his mark as a rhythm and blues man. Steve gained recognition as being the voice behind a set of drums. It wasn’t until the 80’s when he was asked to bring that voice and his energetic showmanship to the front of the stage. Quickly in the company of some heavy hitters, both locally and nationally. In 1992 Steve accepted an offer with TK Hulin, of Lafayette Louisiana, bridging the gap between New Orleans and Lafayette. This would put Steve in the company of “Swamp Pop” greats; such as, Rob Bernard, Lil Bob, Willie Tee, Warren Storm, Johnny Allen, Tommy McLain, Dale & Grace.
He fronted  The Boogie Kings, and TK Hulin in the hieght of their success for many years.

Having paid his dues for almost a decade on Bourbon Street and then many years in Lafayette, Steve has compiled quite the impressive resume.

He has performed with Ernie K-Doe, Jessie Hill, Erma Thomas, Tommy Ridgley, Oliver Morgan, Alan Toussaint, Michael McDonald, Rita Coolidge and has shared stages with the infamous Dr. John, the Meters, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, and Arron Neville.
